Company launches platform to lower costs of mobile-ordering deployments

March 21, 2017

Avanti, the company that provided Subway with its mobile-ordering platform, has made it possible for smaller chains to use the same type of system since it launched it as a cloud-based platform, according to a news release.

Avanti's system at Subway, adopted last year, is a customized global mobile-ordering platform with multiple payment and POS systems. Avanti has taken the most powerful parts of that system and launched a cloud-based platform available at a lower price point for restaurants and restaurant chains of any size, said Avanti founder and CEO Jason Strashek.

"Mobile ordering is no longer just a shiny 'nice to have' capability for businesses. It's becoming a necessity for the fast-moving modern consumer and a powerful way to drive engagement and sales," he said in the release.

Strashek said the system allows chains to have a mobile ordering platform with customized branding and menu incorporation in just a few weeks.
