Comps rise 8.3% at Port City Java corporate cafes

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Port City Java said comparable-store sales at its corporate cafes rose 8.3 percent in 2006. The 60-unit company did not release franchise unit sales.
According to a news release, Port City is preparing to test an expanded breakfast program at select corporate cafes. Last year it saw significant sales results from the system-wide breakfast sandwich program rollout.
