Law enforcement officers from throughout Wisconsin will stake out 33 Dunkin' Donuts rooftops to benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin, on Aug. 15, beginning at 6 a.m. through 11 a.m., according to a company press release.

In return for the police officers "doing time" at their restaurants, Dunkin' Donuts will donate $5,000 to the organization. In addition, each guest who visits a Cop on a Rooftop location that day and makes a donation will receive a Free Medium Hot or Iced Coffee coupon.

Last year, Wisconsin police officers raised more than $28,000 from atop 20 Dunkin' Donuts rooftops for Special Olympics Wisconsin. This year, Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton, Oconomowoc, DePere, Waukesha, West Allis, Wisconsin Dells, Eau Claire, Janesville, Plover, Kenosha, Edgerton, Hales Corners, New Berlin, Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek, Whitefish Bay, Platteville, Sheboygan, Racine, Tomah, Waunakee and Rhinelander will participate.
