Cott buying S&D Coffee for $355M

Canadian-based Cott Corporation, a beverage producer and provider, is acquiring S&D Coffee for $355 million on a cash and debt-free basis. 

S&D is the largest coffee and tea manufacturer and supplier in the U.S. It will remain headquartered in Concord, North Carolina. Current Chief Executive Officer Ron Hinson, and existing leadership team, will continue leading S&D, according to a release.

“The acquisition of S&D enables us to become a leading player in the coffee and tea categories due to their excellence as a manufacturer,” said Jerry Fowden, Cott CEO.
