Milwaukee-based Cousins Subs awarded four high school seniors with $14,000 in scholarships as part of its second annual Wisconsin Sports Awards Scholarship Contest.
Adam Vechart of Menomonee Falls and Cecilia "CeAnna" Soper of Hartland were the grand prize winners of $5,000 scholarships, while Trey Horbinski of Necedah and Audrey Adler of Oconomowoc were each awarded $2,000 scholarships during the Wisconsin Sports Awards.
"The Wisconsin Sports Awards was a great way to reward these remarkable student athletes for all they've accomplished," Cousins VP of Marketing, Justin McCoy, said in a news release. "They were able to meet prominent athletes like Aaron Rodgers and celebrate a night to remember before graduating and moving on to the next chapter of their lives."
The scholarships were funded through Cousins Subs' Make It Better Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization established in 2013.
