Cousins Subs and the Milwaukee Bucks joined efforts to award a fan experience to the Cousins "Super Sub" promotion grand prize winner. From Jan. 6-31, fans were encouraged to visit to vote for the Cousins "Super Sub" (Bucks player) they thought was making the biggest impact off the bench. After a month of voting, John Henson was named as the Bucks best off-the-bench performer, according to a company press release.
Each fan who voted received a Cousins Subs offer. In addition, five runner-up winners were selected to receive two tickets to a select Bucks game along with a $100 Cousins Subs gift card.
"Through teaming up with the Bucks, we were able to provide a unique opportunity to further enhance the fan experience while combining two Milwaukee-based traditions," said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing at Cousins Subs. "Through fan engagement on social media and online, the 'Super Sub' promotion proved to be a slam dunk."
Joy Carr of Milton, Wisconsin, was the grand prize winner, receiving two lower-level tickets to the Bucks vs. Boston Celtics game, free Cousins Subs for a year and an exclusive "Eat and Greet" with Henson.
"Being selected as the grand prize winner and meeting John Henson was unimaginable and truly life changing," Carr said. "It also helped my family and I to become even bigger, devoted Bucks fans and taught us a lot about Cousins Subs advocacy in the community."
