Culver's celebrates 25th anniversary

SAUK CITY, Wis. — To celebrate its 25th year, participating Culver's restaurants will launch a week-long promotion in addition to special events that are planned for the original Culver's in Sauk City, the company has announced. Culver's of Sauk City first opened its doors July 18, 1984.
 
The company opened 23 new restaurants and experienced close to a 10 percent increase in overall sales in 2008. Culver's expects to open 20 new restaurants this year and opened its 400th restaurant in June.
 
Culver's in Sauk City will celebrate through the anniversary week starting July 13 with daily prize drawings, festive activities and $1 daily specials including shakes, the restaurant's signature ButterBurgers and sundaes. The company also will donate 10 percent of Sauk City restaurant sales on July 15 to the local Good Neighbor Clinic.
