Culver's, Red Cross partner for community campaign
August 15, 2007
PRAIRIE DU SAC, Wis. — American Red Cross chapters have joined forces with Culver's restaurants for a new Culver's Cares community campaign. The campaigns will raise funds and awareness for emergency and humanitarian programs.
The partnership unites more than 350 Culver's restaurants in 16 states with local Red Cross chapters. Programs will directly benefit residents in local communities, helping them prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, according to a news release.
These community efforts will include a Day of Giving system-wide fundraising event Sept. 12, 2007, when 10 percent of restaurant sales will be donated to local Red Cross charities. More than $150,000 is expected to be raised on that day.
