Culver's sails past 600 locations

Wisconsin-based Culver's restaurant chain said in a news release it has surpassed the 600-location mark. The five openings on Monday in Gainesville, Florida; Grovetown, Georgia; Marion, Illinois; Mount Juliet, Tennessee and Mesa, Arizona put the chain over the milestone, according to a company press release.

Culver's has units in 24 states; all are franchised except for eight, which are corporate owned. The chain opened 43 openings this year and has 44 on the agenda for year.
