Dairy Queen goes all 'Ghirardelli' for Cupid

Dairy Queen is gearing up for that day of love, Valentine's Day, just about two weeks off now. The brand plans a pair of love-inspired soft-serve treats, served with chunks of Ghirardelli chocolate and real strawberry topping, a news release said.  

The Dipped Strawberry Blizzard Treat is available now, in fact, as the February Blizzard of the Month, as well as heart-shaped Dipped Strawberry Cupid Cake made with Ghirardelli. The cake is designed to serve two and is available in stores or via online ordering for in-store pickup. The Blizzard is made-to-order in one of four sizes.

Also in February, the DQ system is continuing to offer its $4.99 Chicken Strip Basket that also includes Texas toast, crispy fries and a choice of dipping sauce. 

The total Dairy Queen system includes more than 6,800 locations in the United States, Canada and 25 other countries.
