Del Taco adds store in Georgia

Two months after Jetz Foods LLC opened its third Del Taco in Dalton Georgia, the Chattanooga, Tennessee-based firm added a fourth unit on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, a news release said. The restaurant is a part of the group's development growth strategy throughout Northwest Georgia and Southeast Tennessee.

Jetz Foods also plans to open two more Del Taco stores next year.

"We have a remarkable team that is motivated to grow quickly, and the timeliness we bring to our development plan is backed by a corporate team that's equally as efficient and knowledgeable," Tom Getz, one of Jetz Foods operators, said in the release. "Thanks to our drive-thru, takeout and delivery channels, we've been able to provide our fans with convenience and quality food during a time when they need it most."

Del Taco is continuing its focus on Southeast expansion, seeking franchisees in Florida, Tennessee, Alabama and the Carolinas, the news release said. The chain is based in Lake Forest, California.
