Del Taco adds three made-to-order bowls to menu

Del Taco has added three new Fresca Bowls to the menu.

Del Taco has added three new Fresca Bowls to the menu, priced at $4 each. According to a company news release, the made-to-order bowls are served on a bed of lime rice and seasoned black beans. The new varieties include:

• Southwest Grilled Chicken & Veggie Bowl features chicken and a blend of red and green bell peppers, caramelized onions and Poblano peppers;
• Pollo Asado Grilled Chicken Bowl is made with grilled chicken, pico de gallo salsa, onions and cilantro;
• Fire Roasted Veggie Bowl features Del Taco’s green chile sauce, pico de gallo salsa, and a blend of roasted vegetables.

"Del Taco is thrilled to introduce our new line of Fresca Bowls, loaded with a generous portion of fresh-grilled chicken that far outpaces competitors, to deliver what we believe is the freshest bowl experience for the money," Chief Brand Officer John Cappasola said in the release. "We are committed to providing our guests with options that focus on freshness, as well as providing a convenient and elevated dining experience, all while continuing to deliver the value that Del Taco is famous for."

Between today and Sept. 14, Del Taco guests will receive a free small drink with purchase of any Fresca Bowl at participating locations.
