Del Taco creates consumer insights director post

LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Del Taco has announced that Tom Johnson has been hired to fill the new position of director of consumer insights for the company.

Johnson is responsible for developing and executing research plans, tools and processes for Del Taco's business growth. Johnson reports to Peter Honer, vice president, business insights and planning.

Before joining Del Taco, Johnson spent 10 years with Lieberman Research Worldwide, including serving as assistant general manager of the Orange County office, where he led research projects for QSR and other clients. Johnson holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from California State University, Fullerton.
