Del Taco expanding to 12 in Sunshine State

Del Taco said its current two Florida restaurants will become 12 over the next several years with the Orlando area targeted for major expansion first, a news release said.  The brand's Director of Franchise Development Laura Tanaka said to further those ends, the week of June 4, Del Taco is hosting in-market meetings in Orlando for multi-unit operators interested in the brand. 

New franchisees who commit to opening at least five Del Taco restaurants in a new market in a specified timeframe are also eligible for incentives including discounted initial fees and reduced royalties for up to three years to help with unit-level profitability when entering the market.

Del Taco has more than 560 locations in 14 states, with growth opportunities across the Southeastern U.S.
