Del Taco expands Epic Burrito line

Del Taco has launched a new Epic Cali Steak & Guac Burrito, available beginning today for a limited time. The new offering features grilled carne asada steak, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo salsa and is stuffed with Del Taco's signature crinkle-cut fries.

The Epic Cali Steak & Guac Burrito will be offered a la carte or as a meal with a medium drink. The burrito itself will be priced at $4.99, and the meal will be priced at $6.49. To celebrate the launch, from June 9-18, Del Taco is offering a free medium drink to guests who purchase any Epic Burrito, at participating locations.

"Epic Burritos have quickly become a guest favorite," Chief Brand Officer John Cappasola said in a news release. "With the combination of delicious flavors in our new Epic Cali Steak & Guac Burrito, Del Taco is able to provide its guests across the country with a fresh taste of Southern California, where the original California Burrito was born."

Del Taco's Epic Burrito lineup was first introduced in November 2013. It also includes the Epic Fajita Burrito, Epic Steak & Potato Burrito and Epic Chicken Chipotle Ranch Burrito.
