Del Taco expands in Alabama

Del Taco has opened a location in Opelika, Alabama. It's the third Del Taco restaurant for franchisee and Alabama native Clay Gullatt, according to a press release.

The restaurant features the brand's Fresh Flex design that optimizes operational efficiencies and improves the guest experience. The Fresh Flex design includes double drive-thru lanes and third-party pick-up stations for orders places via the mobile app and food delivery providers.

"Del Taco is a brand I knew and loved growing up here in Alabama, and I wanted to bring it back to the community for all to enjoy," Gullatt said in the release. "I went to Auburn University, so I consider myself a local, and I'm grateful to be opening our third restaurant in this area. It's an honor to bring the quality and fresh flavors of Del Taco to new and loyal fans alike."

Del Taco operates approximately 600 restaurants across 16 states.
