Del Taco expands to Minneapolis-St. Paul

LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Del Taco LLC is looking to the Twin Cities to continue its Midwest expansion. The company has announced plans to open 32 restaurants in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and is seeking up to six qualified restaurant operators as franchisees.
Del Taco has opened new restaurants in Mishawaka, Ind., and Toledo, Ohio, and last year opened new restaurants in Oak Lawn, Ill. A new restaurant in Janesville, Wis., will open in May.
The menu includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos as well as hamburgers, fries and milk shakes.
Founded in 1964, Del Taco operates or franchises more than 500 restaurants in 16 states.
