Del Taco introduces Asada Burritos for Cinco de Mayo

Del Taco is promoting its newly introduced Asada Burritos, in addition to its Asada Tacos, in time for Cinco de Mayo (May 5) festivities.

Also for a limited time, consumers can find a coupon for a free Asada Taco with any beverage purchase on Del Taco's Facebook page.

"Cinco de Mayo is a time to celebrate," said John Cappasola, chief brand officer at Del Taco. "With our new Carne Asada Burrito and by highlighting Asada Tacos we're again reminding our fans that Del Taco is the destination for the freshest flavors available from a quick-service restaurant. Customers know they can count on us when they're craving the delicious quality taste of steak grilled to perfection right in our kitchen."

The new Asada Burritos deliver the traditional flavors of carne asada in a burrito filled with seasoned rice, guacamole and fresh pico de gallo salsa. In addition to Carne Asada Steak, Pollo Asado Chicken burritos also are available.

Asada Tacos feature carne asada steak or grilled marinated chicken in two warm corn tortillas, covered with guacamole and hand-made pico de gallo salsa and served with a fresh-cut lime wedge.

They are available as a meal with small fries and drink or a la carte.

Del Taco has more than 530 restaurants in 17 states.
