Del Taco kicks things up a notch

"QSR-plus" is how Del Taco describes its brand and has exhibited that idea through the launch of its new Platos premium menu platform, according to a company press release.

The stepped-up offerings include individually plated meals with an entree, side of fresca lime rice with slow-cooked pinto beans, and house-made chips and salsa casera. 

The fork-and-knife entrees are under $7.50 and come in these varieties: 

  • Chicken Verde Wet Burrito.
  • Carne Asada Wet Burrito.
  • Two Beer-Battered Fish Tacos.
  • Two Street Tacos.
