Del Taco launches nationwide value menu with items starting at $1

Del Taco has launched a nationwide value menu featuring more than 10 items with prices starting at $1, according to a press release.

The "Get A Lot For What You've Got" menu features the return of the chain's Value Bean & Cheese Burrito. Other items on the value menu include the Snack Taco, Mini Cheddar Quesadilla, Grilled Chicken Snacker, and Bean & Cheese Cup, alongside desserts, mini shakes and various specialty tacos.

Noah Chillingworth, chief marketing officer at Del Taco, said the menu is designed for consumers who are being more intentional about their spending and looking for affordable options.

"Our guests are more intentional than ever about how they spend their money, and they want options that feel both affordable and genuinely satisfying. And honestly, when's the last time you could get something for $1?" Chillingworth said in the release. "With a starting price point that stands out in today's economy, this new menu brings back the kind of craveable, flexible value guests can enjoy across a variety of occasions, from a quick $1 snack to an $8.99 Get A Lot Pack with six items plus a drink."

In addition to individual items, the chain is introducing two bundled meals. The $8.99 Get A Lot Pack includes six menu items and a 16-ounce fountain drink. The $6.99 Fresh Deal includes four items and a 16-ounce fountain drink, and is available exclusively through the chain's digital channels.

Del Taco operates nearly 600 restaurants across 17 states.
