Del Taco opening 1st Denver unit in 7 years

Del Taco is opening its 17th  Denver area restaurant with a longtime franchisee and multi-unit owner, Brent Veach. The Promenade Parkway unit, in fact, is Del Taco No. 48 for Veach and the first Denver-market location to open anew in seven years, a news release said. 

"After investing with Del Taco for nearly 20 years, I've never felt more optimistic about the company's growth than I do today," Veach said in the release. "From menu additions to brand refreshes, our leadership team is clearly making strategic changes to set us up for long-term success, and we're seeing consistent proof in our system-wide sales increases." 

Veach also serves as president of Del Taco's Franchise Marketing Advisory Team, which works with brand leadership to achieve transparent franchisee and franchisor relations. He joined the franchise system in 1999 and is opening the first Denver-market location in seven years.

The brand is  in expansion mode but now serves 3 million guests weekly at 560 restaurants across 14 states.
