Del Taco opens 8th Idaho store, offers gift card specials for the givers

Del Taco is opening of its eighth Idaho restaurant with longtime franchisee, Mark Miller, on North Second Street in Rexburg, a news release said. Miller now has 13 Del Taco locations, including eight in Idaho, two in Washington, two in Colorado and one in Oregon.

Miller joined the system nine years ago, bringing experience in grocery, banking, real estate and manufacturing business ownership to Del Taco's system. He is also a member of the brand's Franchise Marketing Advisory Team, which works with leadership to enhance franchisee relations. He plans to open three more locations of the chain before the end of next year. 

Del Taco now has some 560 locations across 14 states, all of which are offering the brand's gift cards for the approaching holidays. In fact, the brand is sweetening the deal for guests who buy the cards, who will also earn free food for themselves including:

• In-store gift card bonuses from Nov. 20 to Jan. 2: Buy $15 in gift cards and get a coupon for two free Grilled Chicken Tacos or buy $25 in cards and get two of those coupons. 
• Online gift card purchase bonuses from Nov. 20 to Jan. 2: Buy $30 in cards online and a coupon for a free small combo meal or buy $100 in cards online and get four coupons, each good for a free small combo meal. 
• Two-day cyber-deal: From Nov. 26 to Nov. 27, all online gift card purchases will get twice the rewards.
