Del Taco plans expansion throughout Chicago

Del Taco has announced its plans to develop at least eight restaurants in the Chicago area, beginning by early 2016.

Leading the company’s expansion in the Chicago metropolitan area is The Tasty Group Chicago LLC. The first restaurant is tentatively scheduled to open by July 2016.

“We’ve had strong interest from franchise candidates in this part of the country for some time, and we’ve found a solid development partner,” Director of Franchise Development Laura Tanaka said in a news release. “Backed by 50 years of excellence, Del Taco is eager to introduce the brand and unique menu offerings to our new guests in the Midwest.”

Del Taco looks to continue its expansion throughout the country. The chain will host a franchise webinar Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. for those interested.
