Dunkin' Donuts announced today the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement with three existing franchise groups to develop 12 new restaurants in the Detroit market throughout the next several years.
The three franchise groups and their development plans include:
Detroit is currently home to 53 Dunkin' Donuts, and the chain is pursuing opportunities to further develop the market with both existing and new franchisees.
"Detroit continues to be a key growth market for our brand and we are thrilled that these existing franchise groups have decided to expand their portfolio and open more restaurants in the greater suburban area. We continue to look for qualified operators in Detroit to grow with us as the company continues to expand westward," said Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of global franchising and business development, Dunkin' Brands.
