Dippin' Dots expands shopping mall presence

Curt Jones, founder and CEO of Dippin' Dots LLC, will be on site to celebrate the grand opening of a new location in Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, N.Y., on Oct. 26. Grand opening events include free Dippin' Dots, ice cream eating contests and door prizes, as well as a meet and greet with Jones.

Green Acres Mall is the ninth Dippin' Dots location for franchise owner Syed Ali Mehdi. The location offers more than a dozen flavors of Dippin' Dots Ice Cream, ice, sherbet and yogurt products. In addition, the location will serve Dippin' Dots floats, sundaes, Lots of Layers and Solar Freeze granita parfaits.

Dippin' Dots, headquartered in Paducah, Ky., now includes more than 130 retail locations in the U.S.
