Discovery Channel's Shark Week hooks Long John Silver's

YUM! Brands' Long John Silver's has once again signed on as sponsor of the Discovery Channel's popular "Shark Week" franchise.

According to MediaWeek, the co-branded spots went live this week and will remain on the channel through Aug. 8.

The 15- and 30-second spots specifically promote Long John Silver's new $5.99 shrimp trio meal.

The ad was produced by Discovery Studios and features two friends who are excited about both Shark Week and the meal. It will also appear on Discovery's sister channels, TLC and Animal Planet.
