Domino's Pizza intros Brownie Squares
August 13, 2006
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Domino's Pizza announced the Aug. 21 rollout of its new Brownie Squares.
According to a news release, customers who order a large pizza at regular menu price will receive an order of the brownies for free. The brownie is Domino's first dessert item to not use traditional pizza dough. It also claims to be the first quick-service company to deliver them.
Brownie Squares come 10 to an order, are bite-sized and come with a side of fudge dipping sauce.
Domino's will support the new product launch using Fudgems, a three-foot-tall brownie character that will serve as the mascot appearing in TV, print and Internet advertising.
