January 17, 2008

CANTON, Mass. — Dunkin' Brands Inc., parent company of Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins, has announced that Cirabel Lardizabal Olson will join the company in the newly created position of senior director of community relations and multicultural initiatives.

Reporting directly to Dunkin' Brands chief communications and public affairs officer Stephen J. Caldeira, Olson will work closely with senior management to ensure organizational alignment on multicultural initiatives, while leading the company's outreach efforts to national, state and community-based organizations that represent important constituencies, including franchisees and an increasingly diverse consumer base.

"Dunkin' Brands truly understands that having a diverse and inclusive work force is the fuel that stokes innovation — the key to both our short- and long-term growth as a company. We value diversity and inclusion, both ethnic and gender, in all facets of our business, and we will continue to make it an important component of our corporate strategy," said Jon Luther, Dunkin' Brands chairman and chief executive officer.

Olson brings to Dunkin' Brands more than 10 years of leadership experience in the foodservice industry. In her seven-year tenure at Burger King Corporation, she led all global internal and external multicultural, diversity, community relations and government relations efforts for the company's 11,100 restaurants in the U.S. and more than 65 countries. She was responsible for developing the brand's relationships with prominent organizations such as the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, National Urban League, U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Gay & Lesbian Taskforce, Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance and the Women's Foodservice Forum.
