November 5, 2013

In celebration of the approaching holiday season, Dunkin' Donuts has launched new holiday beverages, snacks and gifts.

The seasonal lineup features three flavored lattes, including a new red velvet latte, available hot or cold; hot chocolate options, including new salted caramel hot chocolate, as well as mint hot chocolate, white hot chocolate, classic hot chocolate and Dunkaccino; and themed donuts including the red velvet drizzle donut and holiday star donut.

Dunkin' Donuts also offers peppermint mocha and hot cocoa K-Cup packs and packaged coffee. All of the holiday options are available now through the end of the year.

Finally, the brand has limited-edition holiday ornaments, Dunkin' Donuts branded mugs and tumblers, gift baskets, gift cards and more. Dunkin' Donuts Cards can be purchased in amounts from $2 to $100, as well as online at DunkinDonuts.com, and at many grocery, pharmacy and big box retailers.

Also this week, Dunkin' Donuts opened a new location in Barstow, Calif., at the Barstow Station. This is the second Dunkin' Donuts non-traditional location to open in the state of California.

"Dunkin' Donuts is one of the world's leading brands, and we're thrilled to open the brands' second location in the state of California," said Jason Duffy, Dunkin' Donuts franchisee. "We are proud to serve the people of Barstow and hope to become a popular destination for both local residents and guests traveling through the area."

In January, Dunkin' Donuts announced plans to enter Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, San Bernardino, Ventura and Orange counties and has since executed franchise agreements to develop more than 70 new freestanding restaurants in these markets, which will begin opening in 2015.

A franchise agreement with Embassy Suites San Diego has also been signed, and the restaurant is planned to open in the first quarter of 2014. Last month, the company opened California's Central Valley and the Central Coast, including Fresno, Bakersfield, Sacramento and Santa Barbara for franchise development.
