Dunkin’ Donuts launched a new Spanish Twitter handle Thursday, @DunkinLatino. The Boston Globe reported its first tweet: “La comunidad hispana es muy importante para Dunkin’ Donuts,” and said the account is a way for the brand to connect with the largest and fastest growing demographic in the U.S.
Dunkin’s director of multicultural marketing, Xavier Turpin, called Latinos the growth engine of America, and said they drink more coffee and make more QSR visits than any other demographic in the U.S.
