Dunkin' Donuts announces new regional chief

Dunkin' Donuts has a new regional VP for the Philadelphia/Baltimore/Washington area and upstate New York.

Suzanne DeChant has been appointed as regional VP for Dunkin' Donuts' Philadelphia/Baltimore/Washington region and upstate New York. In this role, DeChant will be responsible for providing support to Dunkin' Donuts franchisees and field teams throughout the region, according to a company press release. She will report directly to Weldon Spangler, VP of operations, U.S. and Canada at Dunkin' Brands.

"Suzanne's operation's experience, her proven leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the restaurant industry will complement the talents of our dedicated operations team, bring another level of support to our franchise community and help us further our mission to deliver an excellent guest experience," Spangler said.

An experienced operations and marketing executive, DeChant has a proven track record of delivering results and developing successful teams in the multi-unit retail and restaurant industries. She has spent the last 14 years with Starbucks Coffee Company, most recently as regionalVP of operations in New York City and also held senior positions in operations and marketing with Papa John's and Ciao Cucina Restaurants.
