Dunkin' Donuts app available on Apple CarPlay

Dunkin' Donuts Perks members can now use the Dunkin' App via Apple CarPlay while ordering the donut chain's items while on the road, according to a company press release.

Available on select vehicles, Apple CarPlay can be downloaded through the iPhone. CarPlay takes things such as getting directions, making calls, sending and receiving messages and listening to music, and puts them in a car's built-in display. Through the app, Dunkin' customers can order items through their car by:

• Signing into the DD Perks account on the Dunkin' App.
• Connecting iPhone to Apple CarPlay and selecting CarPlay from the vehicle's infotainment screen.
• Tapping the Dunkin' icon from within CarPlay's Dashboard to open the Dunkin' App on the vehicle's infotainment screen.
• Selecting a recent or favorite order, review the order and checkout.

To use the Dunkin' App on Apple CarPlay, users need to be signed into the app, have a recent or favorite order, and have sufficient funds loaded to their Dunkin' card to place the order.

Customers can download the Dunkin' App on the App Store or Google Play, or on the Dunkin' website.
