Dunkin’ Donuts boosts snack offerings with new soft pretzel

Dunkin' Donuts has kicked off summer with new and returning menu items, including the new Pretzel Twist, a soft pretzel sprinkled with salt.

"Pretzels are increasingly popular among consumers, and we saw first-hand how much our guests enjoyed new pretzel options when we made our Bakery Sandwiches available on pretzel rolls for a limited time last year," Jeff Miller, executive chef and VP of Culinary Innovation, said in a news release. "We are excited to offer busy people our new Pretzel Twists, an innovative, portable and delicious way to enjoy a soft pretzel on-the-go, any time of day."

Dunkin' Donuts is also adding to its breakfast lineup by bringing back the Southwest Steak Burrito, with scrambled eggs, seasoned steak, vegetables, potatoes and Pepper Jack and Monterey Jack cheeses, all wrapped in a tortilla.

Finally, the brand is bringing back two Oreo-cookie inspired donuts. The Oreo Donut features a yeast ring donut frosted in white icing and topped with Oreo cookie pieces; while the Oreo Creme Donut is a yeast donut, filled with vanilla flavored buttercreme, frosted in white icing and topped with Oreo cookie pieces. The Oreo Frozen Coffee and Oreo Vanilla Bean Coolattas are also available through the summer months, the release said.
