Dunkin' Donuts 'can' do kickier coffee that's not quite espresso

Less than two years after launching its first bottled iced coffee drinks, Dunkin' Donuts has launched the brand's first canned drink —bShot in the Dark coffee espresso blend. The Coca-Cola Company-made product combines tastes of Dunkin's coffee and espresso, with cream and sugar and comes in a slim can in three flavors of caramel, mocha and vanilla, a news release said. 

The 8.1-ounce cans have 80 calories are available at select retail locations, which will grow throughout next year to include grocery and convenience stores. 

Dunkin' Donuts Vice President of Retail Business Development Brian Gilbert said new cans are for the coffee-loving consumers who want something a little bolder, but not quite a shot of espresso when they're mobile. 

Coke has been making and distributing pre-packaged Dunkin' Donuts branded bottled beverages since the beginning of 2017. The news release said the drinks are made according to Dunkin' Donuts' specifications
