Dunkin' Donuts continues expansion in the hotel sector

Dunkin' Donuts is continuing its expansion in the lodging market with its newest location at the Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, Mass. This is the fourth restaurant to open under a franchising agreement between Dunkin’ Donuts and Great Wolf Lodge resorts, with existing locations in North Carolina, Michigan and Virginia. All four Dunkin’ units are owned and operated by Great Wolf Resorts Inc.  

Chris Hammond, corporate director of food and beverage, Great Wolf Lodge, said in a news release that resorts in North Carolina, Virginia and Michigan have seen a strong rise in food and beverage revenues — an approximate 10 percent total increase — since adding Dunkin’ Donuts.

North Carolina also on the radar

Additionally, Dunkin' Donuts announced today that it is recruiting franchisees throughout North Carolina with an emphasis on Raleigh, Greensboro and Charlotte. Currently, there are 302 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants located throughout the state.
