Dunkin' Donuts' opened its newest store at Conseco Fieldhouse Thursday, making it the eighth unit for the company in Indianapolis.
Members of the Indiana Pacers, executives of HSG Restaurant Group and Dunkin’ Donuts franchise owners were in attendance for the grand opening, in which the first 400 customers received $2 in Dunkin’ Donuts’ gift cards.
The new store, positioned adjacent to the Home Court Gift Shop, is owned by HSG Restaurant Group and managed by Gavin and Kim Hart, who have been Dunkin’ franchisees since 2008. The Harts operate 16 stores in the Indianapolis and Fort Wayne areas, and plan to open four additional stores in central Indiana.
The new expansion into central Indiana has been a part of a strategic plan stemming from the growth of the overall brand. The company currently has 5,300 franchised locations in the U.S.
"We are thrilled to open a Dunkin' Donuts at Conseco Fieldhouse and partner with the Pacers, Fever and Conseco Fieldhouse," Gavin Hart said. "We hope our great coffee and other products add to the fun of the experience for fans coming to Conseco Fieldhouse."
With this location, many promotional opportunities abound. During Pacers games, fans will have the chance to win Dunkin' Donuts products. Also, Dunkin' mascots such as the Biggie Bagel, Cuppy Coffee and Dashing Donut will hand out Dunkin' products and coupons at the Pacers' opening game on Oct. 30.
The new Dunkin' Donut store is open from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week, and will stay open until 10 p.m. during night events at Conseco Fieldhouse. Like the other full-service stores, the unit will feature Dunkin' Donuts' signature coffee and donuts, and a wide array of food and drinks choices.
