Dunkin' Donuts honors top operators

Eric May, his sister Heather Bower, and their father Jay May, have been named the 2011 Dunkin' Donuts Operators of the Year by parent company Dunkin' Brands Inc.

According to the Scranton Times-Tribune, the three own six Dunkin' Donuts franchises in Clarks Summit, Dallas, Forty Fort, Scranton, Tunkhannock and Wyalusing, Pa.

The family has been franchising with the brand for six years.

"Eric and Heather are exceptional operators who consistently raise the bar and set new standards for our entire business," Nigel Travis, Dunkin' Brands CEO and Dunkin' Donuts president, said in a prepared statement.
