Dunkin' Donuts intros Christmas-themed donuts in global markets

Dunkin' Donuts has introduced new Christmas Donuts, available in snowman and smiley Santa designs for a limited time at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants across China.

The snowman donut is a snowman-shaped yeast shell donut decorated in icing with a smiley face, scarf and buttons. The smiley Santa Donut is a yeast shell donut decorated in icing with a smiley face and Santa hat. Fillings for the Snowman and Smiley Santa Donuts vary by market, but include Jelly, Bavarian Kreme and Chocolate Kreme.

"We're pleased to offer our guests in China our new Snowman and Smiley Santa Donuts just in time for the holiday season," Executive Chef/VP of Product Innovation Jeff Miller said in a news release. "Donuts are delicious treats to share with friends and family, especially during a season filled with celebrations and gatherings."

Dunkin' Donuts also introduced the smiley Santa donut in the UK for a limited time.

In Bulgaria, participating restaurants are offering snowman and tree donuts for a limited time through December.

The snowman donut is the same as the one offered in China. The tree donut is a triangle-shaped yeast ring donut decorated in green and white icing, with red icing "ornaments."
