Dunkin’ Donuts partners with the USO of NYC

May 23, 2014

Dunkin' Donuts has announced a year-long partnership with The USO of Metropolitan New York. The program kick-off coincides with the return of Fleet Week to the ports of New York City, and the company will serve coffee and baked goods to the visiting sailors, marines and coastguardsmen at the USO Pier-Side Mobile Pop-Up Center now through May 27.

Dunkin' Donuts will also provide breakfast service every morning to the visiting members of the sea-services and will also make a cash donation of $10,000 to The USO of Metropolitan New York, according to a news release.

"We couldn't think of a better way to launch our partnership with The USO of Metropolitan New York than by serving the heroes as they come to New York for Fleet Week," said Cathy Chavenet, senior field marketing manager for Dunkin' Brands in Metro New York. "The USO helps so many people on a daily basis and Dunkin' Donuts is proud to be partnering with them for this program."

As part of this partnership, Dunkin' Donuts plans to donate gift cards, travel mugs, and more than 1,000 pounds of coffee and baked goods in its 30-plus military appreciation programs throughout the year including homecomings, deployments, wounded warrior retreats, family appreciation days and more.
