Dunkin' Donuts is breaking ground next week on a U.S. Green Building Coalition-certified restaurant.
The planned unit is located in Edgewater, Fla., and according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, it will include LED lighting, low-flow plumbing fixtures and a rainwater collection system.
Green certification is officially issued after the building is completed and inspected. If the restaurant fits the coalition's standards, it will be Dunkin' Donuts third green restaurant.
