Dunkin’ Donuts plans to expand in San Antonio market

As part of its aggressive expansion plans, Dunkin' Donuts is seeking to grow its presence in the San Antonio market. The company will host a seminar Aug. 16 to discuss franchise opportunities in the area for anyone interested in owning/operating a unit.

Dunkin' Donuts executives will be in town to host the event, which will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Maggiano's Little Italy. Registration can be done online.

Dunkin' Donuts' recently signed a multi-unit store development agreement with existing franchisee R&J International Company for three new restaurants in San Antonio. The first restaurant will open in 2012 and the remaining two will be developed by 2015. Currently, R&J International operates a restaurant at the San Antonio International Airport.
