Dunkin' Donuts set for 9-unit expansion in Albuquerque

Dunkin' Donuts announced the signing of a multi-unit store development agreement with existing franchise group, NMR LLC, to open five Dunkin' Donuts restaurants and four multi-brand restaurants with its sister brand, Baskin-Robbins, in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. The first restaurant is slated to open in summer 2016.

Amin Habib, Murad Fazal and Menjinder Bhambra will lead the developments.

Dunkin' Donuts' will deploy restaurant design options for franchisees, each featuring variations in layout, color schemes, graphics, textures, furniture and/or lighting. The designs are intended to enhance the current restaurant appearance, environment and layout, the company said. Dunkin' Donuts allows franchisees to select individual elements from any of the four options to create a restaurant design reflecting personal tastes and preferences, customized to serve the specific restaurant size and location, according to the announcement.
