Dunkin' Donuts tests in-store bank branch

A Northeast banking company is opening a full-service branch in a Bellingham, Mass., Dunkin' Donuts as a test case, according to a story in The Boston Globe. If the banking-donut marriage is successful, Citizens Bank will consider opening in other Dunkin' locations as well.

A spokesman for the Canton coffee chain said the Bellingham store is a test and no other banks are planned at this time. Meanwhile, Dunkin' in the past year has scaled back its presence inside Stop & Shop supermarkets.
