Dunkin' Donuts to expand into D.C. area

CANTON, Mass. — Dunkin' Donuts recently announced that the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area, including northern Virginia and suburban Maryland, is open for market development. The donut chain plans to open more than 70 new restaurants in the region over the next several years.
Opportunities for development are within the city of Washington, D.C., the counties of Arlington, Montgomery, Prince Georges and Fairfax, as well as the city of Roanoke and the state of West Virginia.
The company is actively seeking new franchisees to own and operate a minimum of five new restaurants in Washington, D.C., to help direct the company's future growth.
