Dunkin' Donuts withdraws glow sticks
October 7, 2007
CANTON, Mass. — Dunkin' Donuts LLC has withdrawn approximately 1 million pink and orange glow sticks after determining they were not labeled properly to warn customers of a choking risk for children younger than 3.
Dunkin' Donuts distributed the glow sticks free with every purchase of a dozen donuts or 25- or 50-count box of Munchkins donut hole treats beginning Sept. 24, 2007, at participating restaurants nationwide.
The company has not received any complaints or reports of personal injury.
