Dunkin' Donuts announced this week that it has sold more than 4.6 million croissant donuts since they launched nationally in November.
The company said in a release that the offering is one of its most popular LTOs in recent brand history. Dunkin' Donuts is extending its availability into 2015 at participating restaurants due to popular demand.
"The positive customer response to our Croissant Donut reflects the success of our strategies focused on providing guests a menu that offers a combination of old favorites like our Original Blend Coffee and innovative and fun new products like the Croissant Donut," said John Costello, president, Global Marketing and Innovation, in the release. "We are thrilled to extend the availability of the Croissant Donut into 2015 based on popular demand."
