Dunkin' makes app more social

Dunkin’ Donuts has added features to its app that allow users to gift and pay for menu items on their mobile phones, according to a news release.

Diners can use the Dunkin' app to deliver mobile cards to friends and to access brand stickers that add images of coffee or insert donut-related sayings and other items to conversations. By using the DD Perks Rewards program on the chain's app, diners can order and pay in advance to skip the line in-store when they retrieve their orders.
