Dunkin' raises $2.1M for charity during annual Iced Coffee Day

Dunkin's annual Iced Coffee Day last month raised a record $2.1 million for the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, according to a press release.

Dunkin' franchisees nationwide have committed to donate $1 to the Foundation for every iced coffee sold on Dunkin' Iced Coffee Day, which over the past three years has coincided with the first day of summer, June 20. All funds raised from Iced Coffee Day are distributed to local children's hospitals.

"Thank you to our Dunkin' franchisees and our incredible guests for making Dunkin' Iced Coffee Day 2024 one for the record books," Victor Carvalho, Dunkin' franchisee and chairman of the board of directors for the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, said in the press release. "Raising $2.1 million will bring immense joy to kids across the country who are facing hardships. Our franchisees are deeply rooted in the communities where we live and work, and we're dedicated to making a positive impact on children's lives. The success of Iced Coffee Day demonstrates the powerful difference we can make together!"

Dunkin' has more than 13,200 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets.
