Dunkin' reimages specialty coffee cup design
October 19, 2008
The Patriot Ledger (Quincy, Mass.): Dunkin' Donuts has redesigned cups for its latte, espresso and cappuccino drinks, replacing the plum-colored design launched in 2003. The cups will feature a new logo and a brown color scheme.
Dunkin' Donuts said it was time to update the look. Accompanying the cups are sleeves that explain specialty coffees to neophytes.
The packaging switch coincides with a six-week promotion in which small lattes are selling for 99 cents from 2 to 5 p.m. weekdays at participating locations. The "America's Latte Break" promotion ends Nov. 11.
