E. coli outbreaks tied to California lettuce

Appleton Post-Crescent (Wisconsin): The Food and Drug Administration has pinpointed lettuce grown in central California as the source of an E. coli outbreak late last year. More than 70 people in four eastern states fell ill after eating at Taco Bell restaurants in late November and December.
